- Permanent root canal filling combined with a gutta-percha point or cold lateral condensation technique;

Features
BioCeram Sealer has long working time and high strength. The mechanical properties of the material are similar to dentin.Thermally processed calcium silicate base promotes formation of hydroxyapatite on the line of connection of material and tooth's tissue leading to mineralization of root dentin structure. BioCeram Sealer has antimicrobial properties due to high pH level (at least 11), because of releasing of calcium hydroxide during setting process. This allows to skip a temporary obturation of the root canal with calcium hydroxide if treatment is performed in not acute stage of the inflammatory process.
The material has high adhesion to dentin walls and gutta-percha points and does not shrink due to absence of resins and monomers in composition, providing hermetical sealing of root canal. Because of high hydrophilicity and optimal viscosity material creates optimal conditions for dentin tubules sealing due to possibility of distribution in the space of root canal, even filling areas, where it is impossible to achieve sufficient biomechanical preparation.
The material is radiopaque due to the presence of zirconium oxide in composition. In case of retreatment, material can be easily removed from root canal. The composition of BioCeram Sealer guarantees absence of hypersensitivity and long-term stability in a post operation period. It can be used during pregnancy
